We maintain detailed risk assessments in line with best international health and safety practices. Your guides to climb Kilimanjaro are all trained in first aid and we have well rehearsed evacuation procedures in case of emergency.

This includes choosing every guide, selecting the very best kit and supervising all the food menus. We can do this as we are operators not agents. We never sub-contract a group's safety and enjoyment to someone else.
  • For each trip we provide a bespoke detailed trip briefing document in pdf form with all the information students and parents need to plan their trip. This includes a detailed trip itinerary, equipment checklists, health advice and training advice.
  • We have full insurance for all public liability risks with a Lloyds backed insurer and are a fully bonded member of ABTA so that all monies paid to us are secure.
  • All of the locations, accommodation and activities that we offer have been assessed for risk by a member of our senior management team. These formal appraisals have been made to ensure that you can be safe in the knowledge that every possible precaution has been taken to ensure your group's safety and protection at all times. Our risk assessments are updated annually and reviewed with our insurers.
  • Any group leader for a school or university will need to complete their own risk assessment form. We can provide advice and help in completing this assessment for a Kilimanjaro climb
